Hannah & Paul – Wedding Photographer at Christ Church, Oxford

Hannah and Paul met whilst studying at Oxford, although they have since moved to Canada they choose to marry at the beautiful and welcoming Christ Church Cathedral. The wedding day was held on Monday 16th April 2012 and included getting ready at the Randolph Hotel, a short distance from the Christ Church and a reception hosted at Tythe Barn, where the food was provided by Jamie Oliver’s catering company, Fabulous Feasts.

Emma & Andrew – Miskin Manor Wedding Photographer, Cardiff

Emma and Andrew were married on Saturday 14th April 2012 at St. Catherine’s Church in Pontypridd, South Wales. The church was under going some renovations at the time and Emma was worried about the scaffolding and boarding being in the photographs, but as an experienced documentary wedding photographer you get use to dealing with these things. The wedding reception took place at Miskin Manor.

Rachel & Christopher – Documentary Wedding Photographer at Peterstone Court

Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the wedding of Rachel and Christopher, who were married on 30th March 2012 at Llanhamlach Church near Brecon, Wales. The wedding reception was hosted at Peterstone Court which is just a short walk from the church along the hotel’s scenic driveway.

Sara & Aled – Documentary Wedding Photographer at Canada Lodge, Cardiff

Sara and Aled held their wedding day on Saturday 10th March 2012, the marriage ceremony was at Bethlehem Chapel in Gwaelod-Y-Garth near Cardiff in South Wales. The service was followed by tea and cake in the church hall, before traveling to the reception venue, Canada Lodge, where a big screen had been set up so guests could watch Wales beat Italy in the Six Nations Rugby Championship.

Clare & Robert – Wedding Photographer at Coed-Y-Mwstwr

Clare and Robert were married at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr Hotel nr Bridgend in South Wales on 4th March 2012. It was almost a year to the day since the last time I photographed a wedding at this hotel and coincidently that was also the last time I saw Clare and Robert who just happened to be taking a pre-wedding tour just as I arrived to photograph a wedding back in March 2011.

Laura & Tom – Documentary Wedding Photographer at St Pierre Chepstow

Laura and Tom’s wedding day was held on Saturday 3rd March 2012, they hired the Wyelands House overlooking the River Severn Estuary near Chesptow in South Wales for the weekend which was to accommodate their wedding guests and to be the loaction for the evening celebratory meal. The marriage ceremony and drinks reception was hosted at the nearby hotel, St Pierre Country Club.

Laura & Darren – Jewish Wedding Photographer at the London Ritz

I woke up on Sunday 5th February 2012 to a white London, as predicted snow had fallen in the capital, so I was pleased that after some logistical manoeuvres I was only a short distance from the bridal preparations which was now to be located at the London Ritz Hotel. The marriage ceremony was at the Bevis Marks Synagogue nestled in the City and then back to the Ritz for the reception. This was to be my first time photographing a Jewish Wedding and I was honoured that Laura and Darren had entrusted me to record the event, I have photograph the Israel dancing before but that was at a party, see here, though today’s wedding was to feature a more low key first dance.

Sian & Samuel – Wedding Photographer at Canada Lodge

The first wedding I photographed in 2012 was for Sian and Samuel who were married on Saturday 14th January 2012. The day began with the bridal preparations in Porthcawl, South Wales before heading to Canada Lodge near Cardiff which was to host the marriage ceremony and wedding reception.

The weather was not kind to us today, with rain and high winds luckily the whole day from the bridal preparations to the marriage ceremony and the wedding reception was all held at the Miskin Manor near Cardiff in South Wales.

Lorna & Richard – Wedding Photographer at Peterstone Court, Wales

What a difference a year makes, this time last year due to the massive snow fall I was worried about making it to Peterstone Court for a pre-Christmas wedding at the Brecon hotel. However today, 22nd December 2011 was crisp and bright, perfect for the wedding of Lorna and Richard, both the groom and bride prepared for the wedding ceremony at Peterstone, separately of course before walking to St Peter & St Illtyd’s Church at the end of the hotel’s drive.
